It has been almost a year since I went and spent the day with my camera. Last December I purchased a dSLR to record the memories of our children growing and possibly as a hobby for me. I don’t really know what I’m doing with the camera so maybe one day I’ll take a short course in photography. However, I have fun with it and enjoyed the hour or so at Frankston beach earlier this week. I’ve uploaded several shots and on a couple of them added a retro feel or a lomo effect.

Wow Nathan! You are very talented with photography! I’m very impressed with your God-given creative ability to capture the composition of a shot very well!
@Cameron: Thanks for the encouraging comment. I really do hope to have some lessons in how to use the camera better and the basics of photography. Maybe over Summer I’ll take advantage of some of the stuff that is online. Glad to see I got a comment out of you!
