Since we’ve been attending our new church – little more than a year – my wife & I (and several friends) have had our eyes opened to the concept of family worship. With grown kids, I at one time both jealous of young fathers who are being so instructed and have many years (Lord willing) to rightly raise their children AND I am most thankful to God for this same thing, as it is a major cause for me to have hope in the next generation. It is weird – no doubt – to consider family worship if you’ve been raised in conventional church life. But even if it’s only you and your spouse (we have two dogs, to boot), there is much blessing of God to be shared.Thank you, Nathan, for posting this. I have been blessed by more than one thing written by Joel Beeke.
