Endtimes Q&A (Free E-Book)

David Murray has produced a free e-book entitled, Endtimes Q&A.

This is some of what David Murray has to say about it:

” In the interests of clarity, precision, simplicity and brevity, the material is presented in question and answer (or “catechism”) format…As this is only an introduction to the four main millennial views, I have kept things brief. I have also focused on the mainstream of each view rather than all the variations within each.”

Download Endtimes Q&A (PDF).

The Westminster Standards Database

…looks to be a very helpful resource for searching and for learning The Westminster Standards.

Especially helpful is the quiz you can take to help you memorise the Larger & Shorter Catechism. Their site will ask you a question (from your nominated starting position) and you must type in the correct answer. Punctuation isn’t important, but if you do get it wrong it allows you to compare your answer with the correct one. It’s even colour coded!

Go and visit The Westminster Standards Database.

Thanks to Providence OPC for putting this together and to Enrique who brought it to my attention.

How Sermons Work – A Free e-Book

David Murray has made his first ever e-Book available for free download. It is entitled, How Sermons Work – An Introduction to Sermon Preparation, and although I’ve yet to read it, from the table of contents it looks to be a helpful resource.

It’s on my to read list, why don’t you download it and tell me (and David Murray) what you think.

Recommended Reformed Systematic Theologies

Keith Mathison of Ligonier Ministries recommends several Reformed systematic theologies ranging from John Calvin, Francis Turretin, to Michael Horton.

I’d also include A New Systematic Theology Of The Christian Faith 2nd Edition by Robert L. Reymond.  Are there any not mentioned in Mathison’s post that you’d include in your list?
