Thanks for Participating in Jesus + Nothing = Everything Week
Thank you to everyone who participated in “Jesus + Nothing = Everything” week here on the blog. I was encouraged by your enthusiasm, both in entering the daily draws and in the feedback I received from the excerpts I selected.
None of this would have been possible if it were not for my friends at Crossway. If you’re on Twitter, I’m sure they’d love to receive tweets from any of you saying “Thanks.” Their Twitter handle is @CrosswayBooks.
Congratulations

Welcome to New Visitors
Running this giveaway encouraged some of you who have been long-time readers, but who have never commented, to leave your first comments on a blog post. Thank you for taking the time to comment, and I hope you continue to join the discussions on future posts.
There have been some new subscribers to the blog also. Whether you were a regular visitor who has now subscribed, or you’re totally new to NWBingham.com, welcome and thank you for subscribing! For those that are new, I thought I’d take a moment to tell you what to expect from a subscription to NWBingham.com.
A Typical Week
A typical week will see 2-3 posts. Some of these posts will relate to social media and technology, usually with an emphasis on how Christians can use these tools well and to the glory of God. Other posts will highlight areas of theology, attempting to explain and apply them as simply and clearly as possible. Lastly—and I guess this is a subset of theology posts—I attempt to have a particular focus on the gospel; leading us to treasure and serve Jesus Christ more.
In addition…
Some of you will know already that 24-hours a day I tweet an eclectic mix of links from the world of theology, technology, new media, design, and whatever else takes my fancy. For those on the blog, I take a sampling of the past week’s tweets and post them here on a Saturday. This week’s post will go live shortly.
Recently I’ve begun compiling a list of Amazon Kindle book specials for the Christian reader. This is a new feature, and I may be publishing it bi-weekly. Here is a recent list I posted, and I’m aiming to publish an updated list next week.
Thrown into the mix, I attempt to provide you with opportunities to get spiritually enriching free stuff. Who doesn’t love free stuff? This past week has been an example of that. In the past I’ve given away copies of Bible Works, online gift vouchers, books by R.C. Sproul, Michael Horton, and others. In fact, as I type this I’m negotiating another possible giveaway to be run soon. So keep your subscriptions active!
